e-PhotoMemories' Video-CD (VCD) Slide Show CD-RW puts your images in albums that can be played using most DVD players and a TV. The slide shows can have background music.

Slide shows on the VCD album start when you insert the VCD in your DVD player. Each album contains up to 200 images depending on the customer's wishes. Each slide is displayed for 6 seconds resulting in a 100 slide show that lasts about 10 minutes. Music can accompany the slide shows.

The Pause and Play functions on most DVD players can be used.

In order to produce slide shows we need additional material and information:

bulletThe source material photos, slides, etc. should be sequence in the order you want them in the slide show. Of course we can always produce slide shows with the images in random order.
bulletIf you want music. you must provide audio CDs and a list of tracks you want used.  Audio CDs are preferred and will give the best quality, we will extract the selected tracks.
bulletHowever, we can accept the audio on cassette tape but we cannot extract specific selections. We will use the tape from the beginning.
bulletFor comfortable viewing slide shows are set to show about 10 slides a minute, 6 seconds per slide. Plan enough music for the number of slides with extra for headers and trailers.

It is unlikely that you would have a single album that would exceed the capability of a VCD. However, if the problem arises the album could be written to a DVD.

Most DVD players support "Compact Disk Digital Video", VCD, and can read CD-RW disks. Many late model DVD players state support for VCD as well as CD-R/CD-RW on the front bezel. Others you may find it in the user's manual. If you were a very early purchaser of a DVD player it may not support VCD. e-PhotoMemories can provide a VCD for you to try if you have a specific concern.

While much testing has taken place, e-PhotoMemories cannot make compatibility claims for specific DVD players. For better compatibility CD-RW disks are used. Even though CD-R disks should work better results have been achieved using CD-RW disks.
